Bryan City Council Sets Voting Locations If There Is A December Runoff

City officials in Bryan and College Station are preparing for five possible runoff elections….Bryan and College Station mayor, Bryan council in single member district five, College Station council place five, and College Station ISD school board place five.

The Bryan city council at its October 11 workshop meeting was asked by city secretary Mary Lynne Stratta how many voting centers and their locations should there be a runoff.

The council decided if the Bryan runoff includes the mayor’s race, the council decided on three locations for early voting and five on election day.

That means spending an additional $20,000 dollars to include the county elections office as supported by Andrew Nelson and Buppy Simank.

If the Bryan runoff includes the mayor’s race, proposed early voting locations are the elections office, Galilee Baptist Church, and the Brazos Center. Those sites would also be election day centers, along with Arena Hall and Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church.

If the Bryan runoff involves only the SMD 5 council race, proposed early voting and election day sites would be Fellowship Freewill Baptist Church and College Heights Assembly of God church.
