More than $1.5 million dollars in federal money will be spent to build a shared use path along East 29th Street between Carter Creek Parkway and Autumn Circle.

The Bryan city council was told at this week’s meeting (April 14) from public works director Jayson Barfknecht said the local metropolitan planning organization awarded the federal money.

Barfknecht said the project, which will be built along the KBTX side of East 29th, will be administered by the Texas Department of Transportation.
