Bryan Broadcasting’s WTAW Receives Nine Awards From The Texas Association Of Broadcasters

The Texas Association of Broadcasters (TAB) presents Bryan Broadcasting’s WTAW with nine awards for our news and sports coverage during 2024.

Bryan Broadcasting competes in the Texas Broadcast News Awards (TBNA) radio division outside the major markets of Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, and Austin.

Saturday night (April 12) at the TBNA awards banquet, WTAW earned a fourth consecutive overall excellence award. This follows similar awards from the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018.

The award for best local talk show went to The Infomaniacs team of Scott DeLucia, Chelsea Reber, and Sean Burnett.

The best reporter and best newscast awards went to Chelsea Reber, the award for best news anchor went to Bill Oliver, and the award for best sportscast went to Sean Burnett.

Bill Oliver received awards for best continuing coverage of a single story, the best beat coverage, and the best use of audio.
