She possesses great leadership qualities, one of which is in the area of strategic planning. We believe the community will embrace Alison who genuinely cares for this community and organization, and who is committed to making it stronger.”

Alison Prince has worked at the United Way of the Brazos Valley since 2006. She began her career at United Way in the position of Director of Information and Referral Services. In 2011, she was promoted to the Vice President Community Impact. She also holds a Certificate in Nonprofit Management from the Bush School of Government and Public Service.

For the past two and a half years, Alison has worked with partner agencies, volunteer committees and community leaders advancing the Community Impact efforts in the areas of Education, Financial Stability, and Health.

“Here at the United Way, when we say ‘LIVE UNITED’ it’s not just a tag line. It’s our call to action to motivate our community to give, advocate and volunteer which helps create a great community,” said Alison Prince. “I am honored to accept the position of President and CEO and am eager to provide the leadership to build a stronger organization, and in turn a stronger community.”
