Brazos County property owners will not be able to conduct business at the tax office on Wednesday, May 8.

Tax assessor-collector Kristy Roe says they are making a change in computer software which will not allow them to access any property tax records.

Property owners requiring assistance have to contact the tax office Tuesday (May 7) or Thursday (May 9).

This does not affect motor vehicle services, only property tax records.

News release from Brazos County tax assessor-collector Kristy Roe:

The Brazos County Tax Office will undergo software migration to new servers for their property tax servers on Wednesday, May 8. Residents and property owners who have business or questions regarding their property taxes should plan to take care of that before or after that date since the staff will not be able to access any property tax records on that day. This process will not impact the motor vehicle services provided by the office.
