Brazos County District Court Criminal Cases Involving Plea Agreements and Violating Supervision Conditions

Recent plea agreements in Brazos County district court criminal casses have included two men going to prison for multiple drunk driving convictions.

65 year old Gilbert Acosta Junior of Bryan, who admitted to his seventh DWI, was sentenced to ten years. This was for an arrest made almost three years ago by a DPS trooper at Highway 21 and the freeway.

And 39 year old Jose Leonel Martinez of Baytown was sentenced to six years for his sixth DWI. He was arrested in April of last year by a College Station patrolman on Barron Road near the freeway.

A Bryan man will be serving at least six months in prison for assaulting an emergency room employee at St. Joseph’s last year, then running out of the hospital in his shorts and gown with an I-V needle still in his left hand. 19 year old Jose Andres Reyes violated five conditions of his community supervision.
