A Bryan woman who has served four sentences in the Brazos County jail for misdemeanor theft by check is now doing six months for withdrawing money from an ATM with a debit card belonging to a 72 year old victim. 57 year old Dianne Jones was a home health care worker at the time of the theft in November 2014. Jones, who admitted to the theft against an elderly victim, will be considered for ten years probation.

In another Brazos County district court criminal case, a College Station man has already served nearly half his sentence from breaking into a woman’s apartment, leading a College Station police officer on a foot chase, and trying to take the officer’s handgun. 22 year old Randy Graves has been in jail since his arrest in October 2014. He has been sentenced to a total of four years for the incident that began in the Park Place apartments where he threatened a woman with a knife. Graves was taken into custody with the help of a private citizen.
