For the seventh time, a Bryan woman is going to jail or prison to serve time for a property crime.
The Brazos County district attorney’s office has announced 47 year old Michelle Reaves was sentenced to 20 years for a burglary and theft two years ago at Pepper’s Cocina restaurant in Bryan.
The DA’s office reported a former restaurant employee gave Reaves a key to the building and an access code to the cash register.
But the news release did not indicate what has happened to the co-defendant.
And Reaves…who was described by prosecutors as a career thief and burglar…is awaiting trial on charges of credit card abuse. She is charged with using a friend’s credit card to give money to an inmate at the Brazos County jail.
