Brazos County Commissioners this week approved contracts on extending a county road that is designed to relieve some congestion in subdivisions south of College Station.
County Judge Duane Peters told WTAW News construction could start six months to a year from now.
Tuesday’s meeting began with a request to limit heavy truck traffic on county roads south of College Station to local deliveries.
Marie Wolf, who lives in the Nantucket subdivision, said her research showed at least three other counties…Guadalupe, Johnson, and Brazoria…have bans.
Wolf also thanked the court for approving contracts related to the Mesa Verde Drive extension.
