Blinn College Beginning New Master Plan for Brazos County Campuses

For the first time in 11 years, Blinn College is conducting a master plan of its campuses in Brazos County. Executive Director of Operations Ted Hajovsky says the first priority is future needs for classroom space.

The plan will also consider technology needs, as it’s estimated the number of Blinn students taking courses online will rise from 15% to as much as 50% over the next ten years. Requests for proposals are expected to go out in the next three to four months.

Blinn’s President of Brazos County campuses Ted Raspiller says the master plan is in addition to a strategic plan that is also underway.

Community members will be part of committees addressing both the master and strategic plans.
