The last day of finals and the rest of Thursday’s regular schedule on the Blinn College Bryan campus is taking place after a threat was received Wednesday night.
Bryan police report a student made a veiled threat in a group chat towards Blinn.
The student was located and interviewed and did not appear to be an immediate threat.
BPD says the case is still under investigation.
The threat was received shortly before midnight, which was after Blinn’s fall graduation ceremony at the Bryan school district’s performing arts center.
A Blinn spokesman says college police searched the campus and found no threats.
Blinn issued a tweet Thursday at 5:39 a.m. announcing investigators determined the campus is safe for regular Thursday operations.
