B/CS Lemonade Day is Sunday

LemonadeDay2014There will be more than 400 hundred lemonade stands in Bryan/College Station on Sunday.

Children learning how to run a business is the premise behind Lemonade Day, a national program that Lenae Scroggins started here in 2010.

Scroggins says “Everybody in the community has a job this weekend. Either you helping a kid sell lemonade or you’re out driving around with ten dollars in your pocket after church on Sunday buying lemonade.”

Ten stands will be located Sunday from ten until two at Jones Elementary in Bryan. Scroggins says 20 students have met weekly with MBA and honor students from the Mays Business School at Texas A&M.
