A Brazos County jury worked late Friday night to determine the sentence for a former Texas A&M football player convicted on two counts of aggravated robbery.
Yemi Babalola and a former Aggie teammate busted into a College Station apartment in November of 2007.
Babalola, 23, was convicted Thursday and the jury came up with a somewhat unusual verdict Friday.
On one count Babalola got five years in prison, and on the second count it was 10 years probation.
Visiting Judge Lisa Burkhalter reduced the 10 years probation to 5 with 180 days jail time, which will be served
