The Brazos County tax office will see between 400 and 500 people each day at the end of the month.
Because William Joel Bryan Parkway (WJB) will be blocked starting midnight Friday for the Texas Reds Festival, Tax Assessor-Collector Kristy Roe advises to do your business in person on Thursday or next Monday.
Roe says traffic on the side street between the tax office and the parking lot is expected to be very congested due to the closure of WJB.
Roe says pedestrians crossing the side street should exercise extreme caution.
A year from now, Roe hopes to be in their new building off Pendleton, north of the corner of University and Boonville.
Vehicle registration renewals that have not expired can also be done at Brazos County H-E-B and Kroger stores. You will have to have your DMV registration renewal form and proof of liability insurance.
