Arrests Involving Those Who Have Been Arrested Before

Repeated contact with the victims in a family violence assault case from two years ago has a Bryan woman back in jail. According to the arrest report from Bryan police, they found 37 year old April Thurman hiding in the attic of the victims home. That was the second time in two hours Thurman is accused of assaulting the same victims from the 2015 incident. Thurman, who was out of jail on a $70,000 dollar bond, is held on a new bond of $150,000 dollars on charges of violating a protection order twice. According to online records, this is Thurman’s fourth arrest in the last six weeks, her 12th in the last 15 months, and her 33rd in the last 17 years.

A Bryan man’s 28th arrest in nine years was on a charge of breaking into a College Station motel room. 42 year old old Emanuel Milton is out of jail after posting bond from his arrest last week from a breakin at the Motel 6 on May 15th. According to the arrest report, the victim said Milton was among five people who beat her up. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

One of the latest arrests on a property crime charge was last Wednesday in Bryan. That’s when an officer shortly before four in the morning stopped a man for walking on the wrong side of Barak Lane near Kent, which according to the arrest report is an area which has had an increase in burglaries. The officer said he was given permission to search the man’s backpack. The officer found an iPad and a laptop that were reported stolen. That led to the arrest of 28 year old Tyron Greeno of College Station on charges of theft with prior convictions.
