An 86 year old Bryan woman told police her grandson used her credit card without her permission 30 times over a six week period. That led to the arrest of 32 year old Mark Goode of Bryan. He’s accused of making more than $1,700 dollars in charges, mostly at the Wal-Mart on Briarcrest. Goode was notified of the new charges in jail, where is held for a parole violation on an unrelated case.
An accused drunk driver missed a turn in a College Station residential neighborhood Wednesday night. Police Lt. Chuck Fleeger says where West Ridge turns into Trace Meadows, the pickup wound up striking a house. Fleeger says two women who were in the house talking were not hurt. The driver refused transport for treatment of injuries after being checked by fire department EMT’s. 22 year old Nicholas Farmer, who lives less than a block from where he crashed, told officers at the scene his brakes did not work.
