Arrests For Home Invasion Burglary And Violating Protection Order

College Station police responded to a home invasion burglary just before 4:30 Monday morning. The suspect was still inside the residence on Autumn Circle when officers arrived. According to the CSPD news release, the man eventually complied with commands to leave. 21 year old Cordell Robertson of College Station, who is accused of entering the residence by breaking a bedroom window, was arrested on a charge of burglary of a habitation. Robertson, who is in jail in lieu of a $10,000 dollar bond, is awaiting two trials on misdemeanor charges. One accused him of theft from September, and the other is from an arrest in July on charges of assault causing bodily injury, possessing marijuana, and evading arrest.

Six weeks after a Bryan man is arrested on charges of strangling and threatening to kill his girlfriend, he’s back in jail for violating a protection order. According to the DPS arrest report, the victim of the October 29th domestic violence aggravated assault was riding in a car that was pulled over for making multiple lane changes on FM 2818 without signaling and traveling at 68 miles per hour in a 55 zone. According to the Bryan police arrest report from October, the victim said after she was attacked, she waited for 39 year old Johnathon Jackson to get in the shower so she could text her daughter to call 9-1-1. Jackson spent five days in jail before he was released Sunday on bonds totaling $41,000 dollars.
