Arrests For Burleson County Arson And Violating Brazos County Protection Orders

A Somerville man remains in the Brazos County jail following his arrest last weekend on warrants charging him with breaking into a Burleson County private club last Thursday and setting it on fire. According to the Burleson County sheriff’s office, Club 166, which is on FM 166 east of Caldwell, is considered a total loss. No firefighters were injured and the building was empty at the time of the fire. 40 year old Orenthal Lauderdale is held without bond.

A Bryan man who has been in the Brazos County jail four times in the last four years for violating parole after he sentenced for the attempted robbery of a Bryan convenience store is back behind bars. The 21st booking in 15 years for 33 year old Artemio Deleon accuses him of violating a protection order in an undisclosed civil case two times last week. According to county attorney Rod Anderson, Deleon now has to abide by a two year protection order. Bonds on the new charges total $30,000 dollars.
