Arrests Following School Disturbance And A Chase Involving A Stolen Motorcycle

Two students at Bryan’s M.C. Harris alternative school are accused of being involved in at least five disturbances. The latest altercation resulted in an arrest. According to the Bryan police arrest report, 17 year old Andreionna Johnson struck the other female student several times in the face, grabbed the victim’s hair, and swung the victim around the hallway before the victim’s body struck a wall. Then Johnson is accused of pushing the victim’s head towards the ground while striking her with the other hand. Johnson told the officer the physical contact happened after she heard the victim on the phone talking about Johnson’s children. The officer stated this is the third time this school year the two students have caused a major disruption. That was after two disturbances at the end of the last school year. Johnson is out of jail after posting a $4,000 dollar bond following her arrest for assault causing bodily injury.

For the second time in five months, a Bryan man is arrested on a charge of unauthorized use of a vehicle. 30 year old Devin Coleman was arrested by a DPS trooper following a chase from west Bryan near Leonard Road and FM 2818 to the downtown Bryan post office. According to the arrest report, Coleman was on a motorcycle reported stolen from Bryan that struck a car and ran several traffic signals. Coleman remains in jail on bonds totaling $13,000 dollars. He is awaiting four trials in Brazos County district court. One follows an arrest in May charging him with driving a stolen vehicle. According to online records, Coleman is in jail for the fifth time this year and the 20th time in ten years.
