College Station police make a DWI arrest of a mother in the process of taking her children to school last Thursday morning. The arrest took place after a car driven by 39 year old Sarah Sanderson of Bryan was involved in a crash at Victoria and Eagle. No injuries were reported. According to the arrest report, her breath alcohol levels were more than twice the legal limit at .169 and .170. Sanderson is out of jail after posting a $2,000 dollar bond.
A Bryan man was caught behind a downtown bar just after two a.m. last Friday morning scraping a sharp object across five parked vehicles. According to the Bryan police arrest report, a customer at Halo’s took pictures of what the man was doing. Then the witness followed the suspect until an officer arrived about six blocks away near 27th and Houston. 38 year old Antonio Valencia is out of jail after posting a $5,000 dollar bond on charges of causing a combined $25,000 dollars damage to three SUV’s, a pickup, and a car, and public intoxication.
College Station police responding to a welfare concern just after one a.m. last Friday morning near Wellborn and Fitch found a party with an estimated 150 people in an estimated 100 vehicles. While CSPD was told one person was unconscious, three officers at the scene determined no one needed medical treatment. One person was arrested for giving a false name. According to the arrest report, that was determined by one of the officers who found her Facebook profile name and yelled at her by her real name. 20 year old Karen Castorena-Vazquez is out of jail after posting a $2.000 dollar bond.
