Arrests For Driving A Lawn Mower On A Highway, Vehicle Burglaries, And Drunk Driving While Awaiting Another DWI Trial

You can be arrested for driving a riding lawn mower on a highway. That’s happened to a Bryan man last Friday morning. According to the arrest report from Bryan police, an officer who knows 74 year old Joe Harvey Adams from a prior traffic stop saw him on his mower on Highway 21. According to the arrest report, Adams was causing a severe hazard to himself and other motorists. Adams, who has a suspended license, was arrested for driving with an invalid license and obstructing a highway.

Give another public assist to a burglary arrest in the twin cities. A witness telling College Station police Saturday afternoon entering unlocked vehicles off Anderson Street also provided photos. One of the officers recognized the man. That led to the arrest of Quantarius Terrell, who turned 17 on March 1. In addition to being held in the adult jail on charges of vehicle burglary and theft of a firearm, he was held for on warrants from the Texas Juvenile Justice Department.

A Bryan man awaiting trial from a drunk driving arrest last May was arrested for another DWI over the weekend. The arrest report from Bryan police also accuses 43 year Jose Chaj of striking a power pole with his SUV on West William Joel Bryan near Brazos Avenue early Saturday morning. No injuries or power outages were reported. Chaj is also being held for immigration authorities.
