Arrests After A College Station Policeman Falls And Breaks An Arm And A Bryan ISD Student Hits A Teacher

A student at Bryan ISD’s alternative school is out of jail after posting bond on charges of hitting a teacher several times then running away from a school resource officer. The Bryan police arrest report included a review of security video that showed the teacher was struck by 17 year old Quinton Turner while the teacher was trying to break up a fight between Turner and another student outside the M.C. Harris campus. Turner is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $12,000 dollars.

A 19 year old man told a College Station police officer the night after the Texas A&M football team beat Auburn that he ran away from another officer because he was afraid of being arrested for underage drinking. The officer fell while attempting to apprehend the 19 year old and wound up going to the hospital with a broken arm. 19 year old Chase Whitley of Houston is out of jail after posting a $2,000 dollar bond following his arrest last Wednesday (October 29) for evading.
