Bryan Police has announced arrest warrants have been issued for two men from a carjacking and bank robbery five weeks ago.

Accused of taking part of the July 30th armed robbery of the Commerce National Bank on East 29th is 42 year old Bryan Champion of Houston.

Accused of both the armed robbery and a carjacking on Oaklawn before the holdup is 27 year old Erric Portis Jr. of Calvert, who eluded law enforcement in Hearne and Calvert earlier this week.

Both men are believed to be in the Houston area but have ties to Bryan-College Station.

Officials say these men should be considered armed and dangerous and you are advised not to approach them.

The Bryan Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigation Division at 979-209-5316 or Crime Stoppers at 979-775-TIPS (8477).
