Arrest Warrant Issued For Woman Charged With Dragging A Bryan Policeman & Leaving Children In A Car Unattended

While a Bryan policeman is out of the hospital after being dragged by a car last weekend, the department has announced an arrest warrant has been issued for the driver.

Keoisha Burleson of Bryan is charged with aggravated assault on a public servant and leaving unattended children in her parked car.

And officer Kelley McKethan says they’re still looking for the bodycam that was torn off the patrolman’s uniform as he was dragged along the parking lot of the westside Walmart.

According to online records, Burleson was arrested after the Walmart incident on warrants from traffic cases in 2012 and 2014 and was released from the Brazos County jail on Monday, before the arrest warrant was issued on the new charges.
