Arrest in CS Hit and Run

There has been an arrest in a College Station hit and run accident from a month ago. Officer Rhonda Seaton says the driver called police four days after a man was hospitalized for multiple broken bones after he was struck crossing University at night.

Seaton says there was no record of the driver calling 911 or the non-emergency police phone the night the man was hit. That and matching the driver’s side mirror to the suspect’s vehicle were among the factors leading to the arrest of 38 year old Kelli Perry of Bryan. She is out of jail after posting bond.

The victim, a 48 year old local man, spent more than two weeks in the hospital recovering from multiple broken bones.
