Update Thursday at 11 a.m.:
Bryan Police believe the College Station man accused of murdering 19 year old Trevor Williams did so because of a failed drug deal.
Detectives say several witnesses claim to have ridden with 23 year old Marcus Watson, Jr. to buy marijuana at Williams’ home.
One of the witnesses said Watson left Williams house with a black suitcase then stated they needed to go because…quoting Watson…”I may have shot him”…referring to the victim.
Watson told investigators he was with his girlfriend at her apartment the entire day. But the girlfriend told detectives she could not account for Watson’s whereabouts for one or two hours Sunday night.
Watson remains jailed in lieu of a $200,000 dollar bond on the murder charge.
