The local Better Business Bureau held its annual Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics luncheon Tuesday to recognize local businesses for their superior ethics.
This year’s award recipients were Memorial Funeral Chapel (small business), Brown and Company Insurance (medium business), and Kent Moore Cabinets (large business).
Texas A&M Senior Associate Athletics Director Jason Cook spoke to the group businesses about how measured changes to the University’s academic and athletic programs are being realized in our economy.
Cook said owners should not fear change, but rather identify and promote their values which are a better representation of their business.
