Bryan Man Who Admits To Domestic Violence Crimes Is Placed On Probation

A Bryan man admits in Brazos County district court to two domestic violence criminal charges involving the same victim. The plea agreement between 26 year old Brenden Ramirez and the district attorney’s office included guilty pleas to family violence assault with a prior conviction that took place in October 2022 and to violating a protection order by coming in contact with the victim three times between May 17th and 26th of this year. Those violations, according to a College Station police arrest report, showed Ramirez shoved the same victim down a stairway twice and threw her to the ground. Ramirez was placed on a form of probation called deferred adjudication for five years. Conditions includes completing a men’s home treatment program, completing a battering intervention and prevention program (BIPP), and having no contact with the victim. Ramirez was also ordered to perform 200 hours of community service and pay a $1,000 dollar fine. The plea agreement also included a 30 day jail sentence after admitting to DWI’s that took place on May 18th and May 26th of this year.

Bryan City Council Is Told About New Bryan ISD Security Fences Bordering City Parks

Bryan motorists may have noticed new fences surrounding some school campuses that also border city parks. City council members were given an update during their July 9th regular meeting that Bryan ISD installed security fencing affecting Cherry, Tiffany, and Austin’s Colony parks. Bryan Police Arrest Two Men Involved With The Same Woman For Aggravated Assault With A Deadly Weapon And College Station Police Make An Arrest On An Armed Robbery Charge

Bryan police responding to a disturbance Tuesday (July 16) at 2:30 in the morning results in the arrests of two men who officers were told were involved with the same woman. Both men were charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. BPD arrest reports say 23 year old Steven Chase Richardson of Bryan, who the woman told police she still lives with but is no longer in a relationship with, admitted ramming his pickup into her car. This is after Richardson confronted the woman at another man’s apartment, where 20 year old Frederick Hall III of Bryan admitted to firing his rifle and hitting Richardson’s pickup. Officers found five shell casings. Richardson is out of jail after posting a $30,000 dollar bond. Hall remains jailed as of July 18 in lieu of a $30,000 dollar bond. College Station police make an arrest in an armed robbery where the victim thought he was selling a PlayStation with the help of a phone app. Instead, the PlayStation was taken at gunpoint. The CSPD arrest report says the suspect was identified by getting his e-mail address from the phone app. That led to the July 9th arrest of 19 year old Stanley Mosley III for armed robbery. He was released from jail July 12th after posting a $40,000 dollar bond.
