Andy Crabtree Name Head Coach at Old Dominion

COLLEGE STATION – Former Texas A&M women’s golf assistant coach Andy Crabtree was introduced as head coach at Old Dominion earlier today in Norfolk.

“Andy has been a great asset to our program over the past two years,” Texas A&M Head Coach Trelle McCombs said. “I am sad to see him leaving Aggieland, but he is ready and deserving to be a head coach. I am very pleased with where our program is going and we have Andy to thank for his help in that.”

Crabtree served as assistant coach in College Station the past two seasons helping lead A&M to individual titles at the 2012 Big 12 Championship and the NCAA East Regional in State College, Pa. The Aggies finished second at regionals in 2012 to match their best finish in program history and placed 16th at the NCAA Championship to mark their fourth top 20 finish in McCombs’ five seasons.

Texas A&M will host the “Mo”Morial at the Traditions Golf Club Sept. 9-11 to begin the Aggies’ fall competition schedule.
