Two days before the first anniversary of the fertilizer plant explosion in West, state officials will be in Caldwell discussing the storage of ammonium nitrate.
It’s part of another series of meetings hosted by the state fire marshal’s office.
The April 15th meeting will be at the Caldwell Civic Center.
County officials and first responders are invited to learn more about best practices for storing the chemical and the strategies of dealing with fires and other emergencies, along with lessons learned from what happened in West.
