FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) _ American Eagle said Monday it would start nonstop jet service from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport to six cities later this year.
The sister carrier of American Airlines said it would launch service June 11 to Brownsville; Santa Fe, N.M.; Tallahassee, Fla.; Montgomery, Ala.; and Lake Charles, La. Service to Manhattan, Kan., will begin Aug. 25.
Eagle said the flights would mark Santa Fe’s first commercial jet service in decades. The Fort Worth-based carrier currently flies to Tallahassee from Miami.
