A&M Transportation Services Ready For Home Football Opener

The people in charge of parking and public transportation at Texas A&M University are ready for Saturday’s home football opener.

Executive Director Peter Lange says your experience will go much better with advance planning and patience.

Lange cites two reasons. One is the crowd with the Aggies first ever SEC game. The other is road construction, primarily restricted traffic at Wellborn and Old Main where an underpass is being built.

Lange says among changes facing drivers after this season’s games is northbound Wellborn traffic will not be allowed to turn eastbound on University.

Lange says they are again providing free shuttle buses from Post Oak Mall to a drop off near the Fan Zone, starting three hours before kickoff and continuing through one hour after the game ends.
