A&M Tracing Source of Bush Library Hacker

The computer network at Texas A&M University and the university system won’t be slowed down as the result of someone hacking into the Bush Library website on July 4th.

Vice President and Associate Provost for Information Technology Pierce Cantrell says their networks are attacked constantly and someone gets in two or three times a year.

Dr. Cantrell says fixing what happened Sunday won’t have any negative impact on those using A&M’s computer network.

Dr. Cantrell says the person responsible for defacing the Bush Library website was using a computer off-campus.
