A&M Softball & Free Tickets to NCAA College Station Regional

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M Softball Double Play Club has announced that it will sponsor free admission for A&M students to this weekend’s NCAA Softball Regional. The first 100 students to display an official Texas A&M ID at the NCAA College Station Regional each day will receive free admission to the Aggie Softball Complex.

The double-elimination regional will take place Friday, May 17, through Sunday, May 19, and features No. 16 seed A&M, Penn, Baylor and Arizona. Game one Friday between Baylor and Arizona begins at 2:30 p.m., while the matchup between the Aggies and Quakers is slated for a 5 p.m. start. All times are Central, and every game this weekend will be broadcast on ESPN Networks.

A&M received an at-large bid for its 12th-consecutive and 24th-overall NCAA Tournament berth and was chosen to host a regional. The Aggies ended the regular season with a 39-15 record in their first year in the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

All-session passes will go on sale Tuesday at 6 p.m. and can be purchased through Friday online at 12thmanfoundation.com/tickets, over the phone at 979-845-2311 or 888-922-4443 (toll-free), or in person at the Zone at Kyle Field box office. Individual day tickets go on sale Friday at 8 a.m. Season ticket holders’ passes were reserved until 5 p.m. Monday.
