After a downturn in 2009, more U.S. medical students have chosen family medicine as their specialty this year, resulting in the highest percentage for that branch of medicine ever, according to the results of the 2010 National Resident Matching Program.
Just over 70 students in the Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine took part in the nationwide Match Day program Thursday.
