Update Thursday 6 p.m.:
From a spokesman at the A&M Athletics Department, there has been no change in Thomas Johnson’s status as a student-athlete on the Aggies football roster, and Johnson is still listed online at aggie athletics dot com.
Otherwise, nothing has been revealed about Johnson’s disappearance that was reported Wednesday at 6 p.m.
The freshman receiver, who was found Thursday morning before sunrise in Dallas, had not been seen for two days after leaving his apartment Monday evening.
No announcement has been made as to Johnson’s availability for Saturday’s game against Sam Houston State.
According to Associate Athletics Director Alan Cannon, “our focus right now is on the health and well-being of Thomas Johnson.”
Update Thursday 9 a.m.:
Texas A&M University Police investigators traveled to Dallas on Wednesday November 14, 2012 attempting to locate missing Texas A&M University student Thomas Linze Johnson. With the assistance of the Dallas Police Department and the Texas Rangers, Mr. Thomas was safely located in the Dallas area at approximately 2:30 a.m. today. No further details regarding this incident are being released.
Update Thursday 5 a.m.:
TAMU police confirm that Johnson has been found, and he is safe. More details to follow later today.

The Texas A&M University Police Department is currently seeking assistance in locating a missing Texas A&M student, Thomas Linze Johnson. Johnson is described as a black male, 18 years of age, 5’11,” 180 lbs., black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen leaving his residence in College Station on Nov. 12 at approximately 5 p.m., wearing a black jacket, black shorts and grey shoes. He was also in possession of a set of “Dr. Dre Beats” brand headphones.
Johnson has family and friends in the Dallas area and may have traveled to the area.
Head football coach Kevin Sumlin released the following statement: “All of us are obviously very concerned about the safety and well-being of Thomas Johnson, who has been missing since Monday evening. Authorities are working closely with his family, friends and law enforcement agencies to help locate him. Thomas is a tremendous student-athlete, greatly admired by his fellow teammates and all of us on the coaching staff. If anyone has any current information about him or knows of his whereabouts, please contact his family or law enforcement authorities immediately. We pray for his quick and safe return.”
