The new leader of the company that manages and operates the national nuclear proving grounds north of Las Vegas will come from Texas A&M University.
The head of the school’s nuclear engineering department is leaving after four years.
59 year old Raymond Juzaitis will start January 5th as president of the Nevada National Security Site.
Before coming to College Station, Juzaitis worked at the Los Alamos and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories.
A&M’s program is ranked second among undergraduates and third among graduate students nationally.
