A&M football traveled into a blizzard and melted not only the snow but the Bulldogs along with it. The battle boiled down to the no. 16 and 17 ranked teams in the country and the Aggie Ran away with it 38-13. Coach Sumlin has 11 road win in a row with the last 5 with the Aggie’s. The Ag’s came out on fire and never let up. Scoring on the first drive again. And…How bout those new duds. For the first time in 80 years the Ag’s came out in something other than maroon or white. The twitterverse was on fire with pic’s and tweets and for the most part it was all very favorable for the ALL BLACK Unie’s.You may know the Aggies used to be red and white but after a delivery screw up…they got maroon and white and just decided to keep it. By the Way A&M bumped from 16 to 15 in the AP top 25. Next Up for the Aggies they stay on the road to Bryant Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa to play the number one team in the country Alabama at 2:30. High school football report. The Consolidated Tigers took at least a share of the 14-5A District Title last night by using an explosive second half to beat the Conroe Tigers 51-14. A&M Consolidated wrapped up regular season play with an 8-2 record, 5-1 in district, an amazing turnaround from the 5-6 season a year ago.
For three quarters, it appeared as if the3-7 Rudder Rangers would end their 2012 season on a high note and upend the second place team in the District 18-4A. And then the Montgomery Bears opened up on costly Rudder mistakes, pulling away in the fourth quarter to seal a 28-14 victory.
Navasota rung up their third shut out in a row and the 4th of the season blanking Caldwell. The top-ranked Rattlers scored on seven of eight first half possessions and rolled to a convincing 58-0 victory over the Hornets. The Taylor Ducks head to the snake pit and are the only team standing between a perfect regular season for the Rattler’s. Kick of is set at 7:30.

A&M Volleyball extended its SEC Western Division lead with a 23-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-17 win over second-place Arkansas Sunday afternoon at Reed Arena. It was the fourth consecutive victory for the Aggies, who improve to 19-5 overall and 11-4 in the SEC to take a two-game lead over the Razorbacks in the West. Like Aggie football a lot of their success is coming on the road. Next up the Ag’s are on the road to Auburn Friday and and Georgia on Sunday.
