A Facebook argument lead to an aggravated assault arrest Tuesday at the Plantation Oaks Apartments on Harvey Road.
College Station Police said shortly before 2 p.m. witnesses saw 24-year-old Isiah Hutchinson point a 12-gauge shotgun at an acquaintance of his before a third-party called police.
A report said Hutchinson told police the argument had started online and the two had challenged each other to a fight in person.
In another case, a College Station man was charged with aggravated assault Wednesday at 6:25 p.m.
A CSPD report said witnesses saw 36-year-old Daren White pull out a knife during an argument with his uncle and shout, “I got something for you!”
The victim’s mother said White arrived at a house on Banks Street, across from the victim, after a fight at The Gables Apartments.
The victim’s mother intervened, and White fled when someone said the victim’s daughter was calling police.
White was arrested about an hour later a block away.
Court records show White has been arrested 26 times since 1996.
