TEXAS A&M QUOTES
Head Coach Rob Childress
On the game…
“I was proud of our guys. We hit balls hard all night long. We were able to grab the lead early. We set up some innings for Corpus, but we made some great plays and great pitches to minimize the damage and maintain the lead. Offensively, we did a great job hitting the ball hard. It didn’t show up in the box score in the late innings, but there were some good at-bats.”

Sophomore SS Braden Shewmake
On the quick start…
“We did a great job getting out to a good start. Michael (Helman) did a great job setting the tone with the double and we were off to the races from there. It seemed like I was always up to bat with guys on base and that’s just a tribute to the guys in the lineup taking good at-bats.”
