Aggies In The NFLPA Collegiate Bowl

CARSON, CA—Texas A&M will be represented on both sides of the field in the 2015 NFLPA Collegiate Bowl this Saturday (Jan. 17) as several Aggie senior football players will compete. The game will be held at the StubHub Center on the campus of California State University Dominguez Hills in Carson, California. The game will kick at 3 p.m. central and will be televised by ESPN2.

The American squad is led by head coach Mike Holmgren and offensive lineman Jarvis Harrison, from Navasota, will wear his familiar No. 51 jersey. Aggie captain and defensive back Deshazor Everett, from DeRidder, Louisiana, will wear No. 29 while special teams standouts, deep snapper Alex Freeman, from Round Rock, will wear No. 61 and placekicker Josh Lambo, from Middleton, Wisconsin, will wear jersey No. 10.

On the other side of the field, tight end Cameron Clear, from Memphis, Tennessee, will wear jersey No. 85 and play for the National head coach Mike Martz.

Last week, wide receiver Malcome Kennedy, from Cayuga, played in the Medal of Honor Bowl in South Carolina and made one reception for 10 yards. Kennedy was an Aggie team captain and the recipient of the Aggie Heart Award.

Aggie All-American offensive lineman Cedric Ogbuehi, from Allen, was slated to play in the upcoming Senior Bowl (Jan. 24) but with a knee injury is not expected to compete in the game.
