A new outreach program for expecting mothers is coming in the fall of 2025.

Jessica Candelaria with Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach says the Maternity Housing Program is for mothers who are also working towards an education.

“That is going to be for young adult pregnant and parenting mothers who are in secondary education or some type of training,” says Candelaria.

Candelaria says the home, which is currently undergoing renovations, will house up to 13 mothers and their children.

“They’re able to live on campus, having housing, we are going to have meals for them and childcare,” says Candelaria.

Candelaria says mothers can stay in the program for up to three years as long as they continue their education or training program.
