Aggie Women’s Golf Shoots 302 in Second Round of Alamo Invitational

SAN ANTONIO, Texas- The No. 11 Texas A&M’s women’s golf team shot a second round 302 at the Alamo Invitational on Monday at Briggs Ranch Golf Club. Andrea Jonama led the Aggies with a second-round 74.

The Aggies have a two-round score of 607 (+31), placing them in 13th. Florida leads the tournament with a score of 579 (+3).

Jonama and Szeryk lead the Aggies in the tournament, shooting 150 (+6) for the tournament so far and are tied for 31st. Szeryk shot a 3-over 75 on Monday. Bianca Fabirizio is tied for 43rd at 152 (+8) after a 5-over 77 in the second round.

Thanya Pattamakijsakul shot a 4-over 76 on the par 72 / 6,450 yard course and is tied for 57th. Callie Scheffler shot a 5-over 77 and is tied for 73rd at 160 (+16).Chloe Velasco shot an 11-over 83 and is 78th in the tournament with a 163 (+19).

Regina Plasencia of Arkansas and Maria Torres of Florida co-lead the tournament after two rounds with 141 (-3).
Texas A&M tees off at 8:45 a.m. on Tuesday in a shotgun start for the final round of the Alamo Invitational and fall season.
