In the semifinal, Wooley put the Aggies on the board in the fourth inning with an RBI bunt single that forced consecutive throwing errors to score a second run as Wooley made it to third base.

Powell led Texas A&M with a .667 batting average hitting 4-for-6 with one RBI and scoring two runs, while boasting a 1.334 OPS. Powell delivered in crucial moments in each game and scored the game winning run in the quarterfinal to advance the Aggies to the semifinal.
