No. 7 Texas A&M baseball looks to claim its fifth consecutive conference series with a three-game set at Condron Family Ballpark against No. 21 Florida, beginning Friday night at 5:30 p.m., followed by a 4 p.m. start on Saturday. The series finale is slated for 12 p.m. Sunday.
Friday and Sunday’s contest will stream on SEC Network+, while Saturday’s game airs on SEC Network. Each game may be heard locally on 1150 AM/93.7 FM The Zone. Fans may follow along through live stats or on X, @AggieBaseball.
The series opener on Friday marks the 33rd matchup between the two programs, with the Aggies (31-7, 12-5) leading the all-time series, 18-14, over the Gators (28-14,10-8). The last meeting between the clubs came in the 2024 College World Series. Texas A&M topped Florida in two matchups to advance to the College World Series Finals.
The Maroon & White will send Shane Sdao to the mound Friday night and Aiden Sims on Saturday, with Sunday’s starter to be announced. Sdao leads the pitching staff with 62 strikeouts, while Sims holds a 4-0 record in conference play.
Texas A&M is coming off a series sweep at LSU, outscoring the Tigers 22-8. The offensive attack was led by Jorian Wilson, who recorded five RBI in the series.
The Aggies rank inside the top 10 national ranks in on-base percentage (.444), slugging percentage (.581), home runs (80), scoring (9.7) and walks (249). On the mound, Texas A&M ranks third in walks allowed per nine innings (2.83) and eighth in strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.27).
In conference play, the Aggies lead the SEC in runs (160), doubles (34), on-base percentage (.424), slugging percentage (.545) and walks (126). Gavin Grahovac is riding a 10-game hitting streak in conference play and ranks atop the SEC in RBI (28) and runs scored (27).
