Additional Brazos County Sheriff’s Patrols South Of College Station

The Brazos County sheriff’s office is providing some additional patrol coverage in two residential subdivisions south of College Station.

Chief Deputy Jim Stewart says it’s in response to recent traffic complaints about motorists going in and out of the Nantucket and Indian Lakes subdivisions to avoid the congested intersection of Arrington and William D. Fitch.

Stewart says residents of other subdivisions outside city limits interested in additional enforcement can contact the sheriff’s office.

During the first two days of extra patrol in the Nantucket and Indian Lakes, Stewart says nine vehicles were stopped at Nantucket and Harper’s Ferry.
