College Station police responding to a criminal trespassing call leads to the 48th time that a Bryan man goes to the Brazos County jail since January of 1992. CSPD arrest reports say Marcus Don Sparks, who is on parole for another seven years on a drug conviction, was in illegal possession of a handgun. Sparks was also charged with possessing personal use quantities of cocaine and methamphetamine. Bonds on those charges totals $40,000 dollars. And he is also being held on a parole violation. Sparks was arrested after CSPD officers responded to a criminal trespass in progress.
A Bryan man is indicted by a Brazos County grand jury for the second time on a charge of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The Bryan police arrest report that was released on Wednesday (April 22) says in January, 35 year old Marcus Jemal Jones told officers he entered the fenced area of a paint and body shop with the intent to drive away in a stolen car that he liked. But Jones said he was not able to open the gate so he walked away. Jones is also awaiting a trial in a similar case that took place in December of 2024. Jones, whose is in the Brazos County jail for the 15th time since July of 2012, remains held as of April 23rd in lieu of bonds totaling $18,000 dollars.
A 19 year old Navasota woman is in the Brazos County jail for the fourth time since March of 2024. Online jail records show Paris Clark was booked on 11 charges following her arrest Wednesday night (April 22) by College Station police. CSPD arrest reports show an officer wanted to stop the SUV she was driving due to unconfirmed insurance. Clark sped away, but she was found a short time later. Then Clark ran away from officers, but she was caught after falling. She was charged with evading arrest twice and giving a fake name, along with three warrants accusing her of possessing controlled substances in 2025, a warrant for evidence tampering in 2025, and four warrants from Bryan police for three traffic offenses and possessing drug paraphernalia from this year. Clark remains jailed as of April 23rd in lieu of bonds totaling $118,000 dollars.
