A&M Women’s Basketball Gary Blair To Throw Out Ceremonial First Pitch For Rangers Tonight

ARLINGTON, Texas- Texas A&M women’s basketball head coach Gary Blair is scheduled to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Thursday’s 7:05 p.m. game between the Texas Rangers (23-24) and Boston Red Sox (21-26) at Globe Life Park in Arlington.

Blair’s appearance is a part of the Texas A&M Night of the Rangers’ University Days promotion. The first 2,000 fans who purchased a ticket through the promotion will receive a special Texas A&M themed Rangers hat.

In addition, Blair, who won the 2011 NCAA Championship with Texas A&M, will appear on the Fox Sports Southwest coverage of the contest twice, with interviews slated for the Rangers Live pregame show, and again as an in-game interview.

Blair, a Dallas native and a noted fan of the Rangers, ranks 16th all-time in Division I with 695 career wins. Blair has led his teams to 21 NCAA Tournament appearances, including in each of the last 10 years at Texas A&M.
