Sunday Gunfire At A College Station Apartment Complex Brings Out Special Units From College Station And Bryan Police
College Station police reveals Tuesday morning (November 26) there was gunfire Sunday at 2:30 in the morning at an apartment complex. CSPD’s Facebook post does not say if anyone or anything was struck from an undisclosed number of shots fired at The Vibe complex at Harvey Road and George Bush East. After the gunfire at a time that was not disclosed, CSPD detectives executed a search warrant with the assistance of CSPD’s SWAT and the Bryan police department’s directed deployment team. One person was taken into custody and three others were detained. No names or charged were disclosed, and there were no details if there were issues regarding the search.
Local Arrests On Property Crime Charges That Includes “Bank Jugging” And Burglaries
A Houston man is arrested on charges of stealing money from customers leaving local banks. The investigation related to what is called “bank jugging” involved Bryan and College Station police and the sheriff’s office. 53 year old William Bertrand Adams II is accused of taking $10,300 dollars from one victim on October 22nd and $2,500 dollars from another victim on July 26th. Bryan police arrest reports say both victims left their vehicles unlocked. An envelope with the more than $10,000 dollars was taken from a glove box and the envelope with the $2,500 dollars to pay his employees was left in the center cup holder. Adams is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $120,000 dollars. College Station police take a man to jail who is described in the officer’s arrest report as a member of the “Hearne Crew”. 30 year old Demarcus Wallace is one of two men who are accused who entered a woman’s home November 8th and taking an undisclosed amount of money from her purse. Wallace was also arrested for a second residential burglary September 13th and a vehicle burglary November 7th. Online court records show in June of 2023, Wallace pleaded guilty to two vehicle burglaries with prior convictions and was given a two year sentence in a state jail. As of November 26th, Wallace remained held on the new charges in lieu of bonds totaling $120,000 dollars. He and Wallace’s accomplice were both seen on video recorded from a camera that was on top of a kitchen cabinet. As of November 26th, the accomplice was not listed in online jail records. A Florida man is in the Brazos County jail following his arrest November 17th on charges of two vehicle burglaries and two thefts of debit and credit cards that took place March 24th. Both vehicles were parked at Park Hudson Trail and windows were smashed to gain entry. Bryan police arrest reports say 28 year old Shawn Domond-Smith took a wallet from one of the victims containing a credit and debit card, their drivers license, and $117 dollars in cash. The other victim lost a bag containing three credit cards and a passport card. As of November 26th, Smith remains jailed in lieu of bonds totaling $120,000 dollars.
