Brazos County Sheriff’s Office Warns Phone Scammers Are Back

The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office reports phone scammers are back.

Chief Deputy Jim Stewart says callers identifying themselves as real deputies are advising local residents they have a warrant, and are demanding $300 dollars.

Stewart says all of the targeted victims have not fallen for the scheme.
